Q: Do you service electronics that are not listed?
A: We prioritize offering specialized, high-quality service for the electronics listed on the current.
While we typically focus on these devices, we understand you might have other repair needs. We strongly encourage you to contact us at your convenience. We will gladly discuss your specific device and let you know if we have the necessary expertise and resources to provide a professional repair.
Q: Do you provide estimates over the phone?
A: We are unable to provide firm repair estimates over the phone.
Since we cannot physically examine the device and accurately diagnose the underlying problem without seeing it in person, providing an estimate beforehand could lead to misinformation. To ensure you receive the most precise and honest pricing, our technician must first perform a thorough, on-site diagnosis.
Q: What is your warranty policy?
A: We stand behind our professional work with a 30-day warranty that covers both the parts used and the labor performed for the specific repair issue we fixed on your device. This ensures your peace of mind regarding the quality and longevity of our service.
Exclusions apply to damage caused by the customer (such as accidental physical damage) or circumstances beyond our control (often referred to as an “Act of God”).
Q: Do you have a physical location? I'd like to bring my device to you.
A: We do not currently operate a physical location for walk-in repairs. To our valued customers who remember our old location, please know that we have transitioned our entire operation to an exclusive in-home mobile service. This allows us to maximize efficiency and bring our expert service directly to your door, offering ultimate convenience.
Q: Can you service my TV even if it is still under the manufacturer's warranty?
A: Yes, absolutely! We are proud to be an authorized service center for nearly all major TV manufacturers. However, for an in-warranty repair, we cannot begin work until we officially receive a work order from your warranty company. Please contact your warranty provider first to inquire about your repair eligibility and to initiate the service claim.
Q: How quickly can you get a technician to my location?
A: Once your work order is successfully created, a technician will personally contact you within 24–48 hours to discuss your repair and schedule a convenient appointment time.
Q: Do you charge a fee for the in-home visit or diagnosis? If so, is it applied toward the final repair cost?
A: Yes, we charge a diagnostic/service call fee to cover the cost of driving to your location and performing an accurate, on-site diagnosis of your device. Since this fee varies depending on your geographic location, please contact us directly for the exact service call fee applicable to your area.
Q: What areas of Virginia do you service?
A: We service most areas of Virginia with our mobile units. To confirm coverage for your specific address, please visit our coverage map on our website or contact us, and we will gladly check if we service your area.
Q: Do you replace cracked or broken TV screens/panels?
A: While we are technically able to replace cracked or broken screens, the feasibility is entirely dependent on your TV’s brand, model, and year. Due to the high cost and complexity of panel replacement, we need to evaluate each case individually. Please contact us directly with your TV’s details for more specific information and to determine your best option.
Q: Do you use genuine manufacturer parts for the repair?
A: Yes, we do. We are committed to maintaining the quality and performance of your device, which is why we exclusively use genuine, high-quality manufacturer parts for all our authorized repairs, ensuring your device will function as good as new.

Recently I had a problem with a 3+ year old Tempur Pedic bed frame making a popping noise when moving up or down. I called their hot line and soon thereafter, a service representative from Electronics Doctor in Henrico, Va, scheduled an appointment to come to my home. I could not have been more pleased with the representative, Henry, and the results. I found him to be friendly, a dedicated worker, and efficient. He carefully listened to the issue and informed me of what he was going to do. Afterwards, he demonstrated several times the frame moving to show me the problem had been resolved. Plus, he also went beyond just doing the repair. He lubricated the frame’s tracts to keep the frame moving smoothly. And that was not included in the work order and was considerate and much appreciated. A few days later, I had a question and emailed the office to seek an answer. Within a few hours, Henry called me and gave me a satisfactory explanation. His prompt awareness and therefore response to my question was due to the efficiency of Irina, the office person who was excellent in her communication proficiency. There was another occasion I emailed the business and once again she responded in a timely manner with a clear and thorough message that generated an immediate and positive result. It seems like most of the time now when seeking help, people are too busy or too lazy or just don’t know how to respond to requests such as mine. But not Irina! She was outstanding! My whole experience, whether it be with communication or the actual repair, has been excellent with Electronics Doctor. I plan to use them in the future and will highly recommend them to my friends.
